Swatches Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush

Magazine: Hype, Music Express Dec 2010, Circus, Vogue Italia Nov 2010th

this post I've ever pushed in front of me and before the subject completely loses its relevance, must finally out. In recent weeks I have again dragged many magazines in my cave and present to you today a few. They include Two new publications, a rediscovery and the proven best fashion magazine in the world. Let's take a look.

first HYPE MAGAZINE

fit is related to the title page of HYPE Magazines fairly lurid along and shows us "society lady" Renate Hirsch-Giacomuzzi that comes across in the accompanying interview as many people with a lot of money: Somewhere in another world herumtaumelnd, but very entertaining there.

interesting I found the article on "consulting expertise in the luxury segment." When I was working a few months ago, with shops in the higher price segment in Leipzig, I was confronted with many of the points raised there. To thematically similar terrain moves the article "fame addict?" Can be a little miss of the psychological and philosophical depth or appeal no new points. Almost all contributions were taken at the magazine editor in chief of Sven Barthel, giving the whole a fanzine painting and because of the limited viewing angle, the claim of the book is not 100 percent fair.

In the editorial letter written Barthel: "This provides HYPE" real "fashion journalism, the pure product placement behind and can be substantiated, as well as critical look behind the scenes of the fashion industry. The story behind the message determines the content. Information and news bites, there is power, deep insight into HYPE. "

a major contract, which knows the issue yet to be met not true. Barthel's choice of words to me always seems a little too" orderly and serious. There in the articles but interesting points are raised, the author, then, is not bold enough to them to think over. It usually remains in solid reporting, I really do miss the spirit of innovation.

free spirit can be found in the galleries, which are all without exception were implemented first.

Unfortunately the issue still problems in terms of composition and layout, does not seem to give it a lector.

Conclusion: € 5 for a booklet on glossy paper but not yet fermented content and typos are a bit much to me. I watch the development of even a little, and I have risen today the new edition. Review is coming soon.

second Music Express

Between 2001 and 2005 I was a loyal reader of the Music Express . But by 2004, the magazine developed in a direction that did not like me anymore. I could do with the bands featured and no longer on the CD were not songs that could stop me. At some point, had to adjust the purchase of the magazine resigned.

fell on news-stand me then on the November 2010 edition. The had somehow changed completely, visually and content. As In December, the Bowie-edition collection with four covers came out, I reached at last to time.

The thinning of the letters was quickly clear that the ME had been actual rather important change. The editorial team has moved to Berlin and is now published by Axel-Springer. The sections in the magazine have been extensively reworked, many will look crisper (which is by the readers of recent years experienced as "forced"), but the most important: The choice of topics is great.

Under the heading "girl music" writes Harriet Köhler a (girl-) column, Wais Kiani is the style police, in addition to the above-mentioned and extremely readable Bowie-file there is a New Orleans-writing, a great Pet Shop Boys-history , a revealing interview with Bret Easton Ellis and the most difficult puzzle of all time rock and roll.

Conclusion: reanimated Old love successfully. I also have the January and today bought the February issue.

third Circus

with a great concept launched last year, the Circus Bookazine . The over 340 pages thick document has been produced from start to finish with a lot of love and care. The varied content comes from bloggers from around the world and was prepared in English and German. Photos and illustrations throughout complement the successful article.

The price of EUR 14 € but apparently still not enough to finance a second edition.
The editor published last week following information:

"We love the Internet and we love print this reason we have dared to do with bloggers from around the world a unique Bookazine.. CIRCUS Fashion Unfortunately, we do this series for financial reasons not continue. CIRCUS is not over, we just work on our iPad version of the first edition. We are also still continue to communicate actively with bloggers, the media-watching events online and offline, and our interest more and more of the opportunities offered by the iPad editors and readers all over the world.
Because we know how hard it is to survive in this business, we want in this blog from now on the look increasingly to create interesting niche products and present the outstanding work of dedicated media-makers - be they print magazines, specific blogs or well done iPad Apps. Of course there are still any information on the development of CIRCUS and our various projects. To all of these issues needs to be, we have converted the blog a bit and as we find - even easier to view. So come back regularly or even better: Subscribe to us in your feed reader. Because of the media circus waiting to be discovered "

Conclusion: Great idea, great implementation Hopefully found an investor

fourth Vogue Italia

..

It has a perceived Eternity lasted until the November issue of Italian Vogue available at Louis was. Besides the usual visual fireworks, the 28-page magazine spread with 4 mostly nude models, under the title "Venus in Furs" as always, was photographed by Steven Meisel.

When Isabella BlowBurbridge about eccentric headpieces.

The famous lobster hat by Philip Treacy:

Young pretty models were photographed by Ellen von Unwerth in a romantic atmosphere:

more impressions from the book:

As is true for the Italian Vogue is already almost standard, an issue seldom comes alone. This time, a beauty supplement is presented.

On the cover is a picture from the "An Individual Vision" series by Craig McDean. I really love these fuzzy glam-punk photos.

The make-up templates I try on occasion try.

One conclusion I give myself. The December issue is already on my desk.
