few weeks ago I read articles from intensive Ingolf Dalferth who is always asking after in what way in the Christian faith, "God's presence" shows. He thinks of what constitutes the essence of the Gospel, with philosophical expression to what makes his lyrics not easy or quick to read, but because for a long and full of content "chews", you just why a good "feel full" after reading.
here first a quote from one of his more exceptional books written in English.
"In all its varieties the Christian sense of the presence of God individualize ie, transforms Particular human beings into individual persons. When it dawns upon me that I live present in the, and can become present to my present, because God becomes present to me, I begin to realize my infinite dignity and uniqueness of being singled out by God. God becomes present to me as my God or God for me and places me as his creature singled out in the presence of my creator. This marks me off from my physical, communal and personal environments but that is me Relates to them as one who is meant to live his life in this world in the presence of God "

The manner in which he writes and develops this speaks to me very much.
