is immediately struck me as illuminating parallel passage to Matthew 5.3: "Blessed are the poor in spirit". The parallelismus membrorum in Psalm 33.19 ( LXX) makes the first line to explain the second line. "Poor in spirit" is the one who was wounded in the heart.
